About Us

Samaprabha Educational and Youth Volunteer Association, Vijayapur

The organization is established for the purpose of rural development and creating a sustainable environment for future generations in Vijayapur, Karnataka.

On June 7th, 2005, Spandana Yuvaka Sangha was founded. In 2018, it underwent a name change and came to be known as Samaprabha Educational and Youth Volunteer Association. The organization originated during the college years of law graduates who established it. From 2004 to 2007, they dedicated three years to the development of a village called Adavisangapur by organizing various programs focused on rural development. The youth members of the organization conducted surveys of their own village and implemented youth clubs and self-help groups to actively engage in social activities. The inauguration of these youth clubs and self-help groups was carried out by Dr. R. Balsubramanyam, the Founder-President of Swami Vivekanand Youth Movement.

Swachta Hi Seva

A cleanliness program was conducted on the account of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahaddur Shastri Jayanti on October 2nd, 2024 at Anand Mahal, Vijayapur. The program was organised by District administration, District Pachayat, Nehru Yuva Kendra Samaprabha Educational and Youth Volunteer Association and Spadana Swayam Seva Samsthe, in coordination with NSS blocks of different Colleges of Vijayapur. Our Chairman Prashant Deshpande, Samaprabha Ngo Vijayapur welcomed and honoured all the dignitaries with the Gifts. The inaugural ceremony was done by offering flowers to the Gandhiji photo by Honourable T. Bhoobalan District Commissioner and District Magistrate of Vijayapur and then by addressing the gathering by his motivational words. Then everyone took the oath about Swachta, preached by Dr.Javed Jamadar. The participants divided into different groups and then went to clean the surroundings of Vijayapur like Bus stand area, Gandhi Chowk area, Gagan Mahal area, tippusultan circle(Datta Mandir) area and so on. All the participated went to rally from Anandmahal to Gandhi Chowk to create Awareness among the people about cleanliness. Ladli Foundation, New Delhi served all candidates with Masks, hand-gloves and snacks and participation certificates for the institutions. Finally the program ended with offering Pooja to Gandhi statue at Gandhi Chowk and all participants made a human chain indicating that we all will serve towards the betterment of society. The whole program was led by Rahul Dongre, District Youth officer, NYK, Vijayapur and M S Devar, Director Samaprabha Association, Vijayapur
